The maverick was designed to replace a handful of vehicles in the ford lineup as the new entry level ford vehicle! Starting at just $22,195, seating up to five people, and boasting an impressive miles per gallon rating at: 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway when equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost I-4, the front-wheel drive, and up to 42 mpg in the city and 33 mpg with the highly anticipated 2022 Ford Maverick XLT 2.5L Hybrid motor! These gas mileages are more comparable to most of the new sedans we see on the market today, is it mind boggling to see a truck anywhere near these numbers!
Not only does the 2022 Ford Maverick outperform a lot of the new sedans we see on the market today in gas mileage, but also in overall storage capability as well! The Ford Maverick comes with a standard 54 inch bed length with an impressive 1,500 max payload capacity, allowing this truck to haul everything from your lawn chairs and sports equipment or, a month's supply of groceries to, almost 1 ton of concrete, wood or mulch and everything in between. The absolute best thing about the 2022 Ford Maverick is that Ford has designed it for everyone. Whether you are a blue collar worker that needs to haul equipment and materials to the job site, or a full time mom with a car full of kids on the way to their sports practice, or even the everyday business man that commutes to work everyday, the 2022 Maverick can do it all!
The 2022 Maverick itself is impressive, but it also comes in a wide range of trims and different options! Currently there are two different engine options the: 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 that is compatible with 2 wheel drive as well as all wheel drive, then the 2.5L Hybrid CVT that is only available in the front wheel drive. But The New 2022 Ford Maverick is available in the XL, XLT, and Lariat Trim Packages.
The 2022 Ford Maverick XL comes with: an 8-inch center stack screen, 12V power outlets (front and rear), Autolamp - Automatic On/Off Headlamps, FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capability, LED headlights, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Rear under-seat storage containers, Rear View Camera, Remote Keyless Entry, Steering wheel audio controls, Tilt/telescoping steering wheel, Available 4K Tow Package (Gas only), and Available Ford Co-Pilot360 Package!

The 2022 Maverick Lariat Hybrid is the best overall new vehicle available for sale in the United States, you can get a fully loaded bad boy for right around $35,750 MSRP. I recently got on Fords website to build out a mavrick to order for the 2023 model year and I included every option that the New 2023 Ford Lariat has to offer including the black appearance package, Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist Package, LARIAT Luxury Package, and the Ford Co-Pilot360™! With this configuration you can drive all over the country in style while saving tons of money on gas, reducing emissions, saving money on you insurance because all of the safety features are sure to get you a discount, and having a stupid low car payment! This is all in a vehicle that won't ever make you call your buddy or your neighbor, or your father in law to borrow their truck just so you can move the furniture you bought from the store to your house; Because the 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat can literally do it all!
So after figuring this at a very average interest rate of 7% and a down payment of 10% or $3,500 the payment would come out to be $549.83 a month! Then considering very average insurance for adults over the age of 25 with a good driving record $110 a month seems reasonable. Lastly I considered the cost of gas; to factor this I considered the average driver's annual mileage driven per year at 13,500 miles and that gave me roughly 1,125 total miles driven per month! Then, say regular 87 gas is $3.75 per gallon! This gave me 37 miles per gallon (EPA estimated combined rating) at $3.75 miles per gallon is $0.10 a mile. So at 1,125 miles a year; it would only cost me $112.50 a month in fuel. That gives me a total cost of ownership at just $812.33! Incredible! On a fully loaded 2022 Ford Lariat Hybrid!
Compare that to the “average monthly Car payment for new cars is $667” -Bankrate, and the “average car insurance rate of about $136 per month” -Bankrate and the average car's fuel economy of “24.2”- U.S. Department of Energy & Renewable Energy at the same cost per gallon and mileage and you will get $0.15 per miles at 1,125 miles is $168.75 a month. For a total of $971.75! Keep in mind these are all just averages, but that looks like an average savings of $159.42 a month for a brand new and fully loaded vehicle!
